CMD designs and produces ECU for Diesel Common Rail Engines.
The ECU, exploiting all injection system, allows to adjust on the fuel quantity injected and fuel pressure, according to the engine mode operation.
The ECU has self-diagnostic function and emission control strategies. In addition, the ECU can handle the solenoid and piezoelectric injectors.

CMD gasoline ECU controls the fuel quantity and the ignition coils according to engine operating conditions. The ECU receives the power requirement data and computes the quantity of fuel, injection and ignition timing and other settings, adding data received from either analog sensors or data bus connections.
CMD offers different solutions for single cylinder engine to 4 cylinders engines. CMD engineers have designed the new ECU for CMD22 engine, the DO160G. It can provide high quality aviation performance.

The EDR (ECU Data Reader) is the tester for CMD ECU. The EDR, equipped of user friendly graphical interface, is very reliable and practical, allowing to quickly and accurately find engine faults, improving the efficiency simply by connecting the PC to the connector OBD (On-Board Diagnostic) present on the engine.

ECU diagnostic and control parameters calibration is performed in real-time by the SW CID, developed by CMD. Definitely the calibration is one of the most delicate phases of the engine development, requiring right instruments needed to create a solid product and to ensure the efficiency of the trials. CMD owns bench test managed by experienced engineers team. It is used for calibration.

CMD is also involved in engines wiring design and production, offering the best solution for all engines cabling requirements, data capture, instruments, etc. Wiring project is implemented during all the development phases, from the feasibility study, structural calculations, to the assembly.
